Hi everybody
Here's the recent photo that was premiered in the website SocialPoliticalArt.com.
This piece features the model Alex Zhang, and its related to the horrible case of the 2 year old child, Wang Yue. Which was killed by a van, ran over by a 2nd one, and ignored by 8 people.
This case shocked me and after a while I decided that instead of make any comment about it, i would just make a question.
And that's what this photo is about. A BIG question.
As promised, here's "Valentine's Day". My new work and an advance of my upcoming collection and book "The Leftlovers".
On such day just wish everybody a happy Valentine's Day, celebrating not just the love for one another, but the love for oneself, mutual respect and freedom.
That's what love is about.
Best.
Pere I.
Hi there!
The website is open again, and as you can see with a whole new design.
Minimalistic, less is more (or so they say). Still some sections (Gallery & Releases) are not up yet, step by step.
So, since this is the 1st post of the year, let's start it with energy, with the energy of a WHITE HORSE!
"White Horse" is the brand new photo that I'll premiere in the upcoming exhibit "EAGL QuadriART 2012" in Berlin, Germany. (Hey that's my first in Europe!)
This new work features another of my fetiche models: Matiya Stirn. And if's an advance of my upcoming book and new series "The Leftlovers" (Release dates will be told very soon).
So here are dates and venues for this coming exhibit:
Feb 4 - March 31 quadriART 2012EAGL gallery Kantstraße 87a, 10627 Berlin (near the District Court / S-Station Charlottenburg / Bus M49 or X34 Amtsgerichtsplatz) Germany

Hi there!
Here's my new photo "True Blue", which will be presented in the coming exhibit "Blue & Velvety" at Projekte, North Carolina.
About the photo: The model is my own mother (I know, poor woman...), and this work is part of my new series and upcoming book "The Leftlovers".
The photo raises the question: how long are we able to keep silence? That secrets and truths are going to leak somehow?
From November 4 to the 30th this new piece altogether with "Les Plaisires" will be presented in the exhibition "Blue & Velvety", commemorative of the 25th anniversary of David Lynch's cult film "Blue Velvet". Such an honor.
Here's the address:
THE PROJEKTE ART GALLERY
523 South 3rd Street. Wilmington.
North Carolina. 28403. USA
PS>> Stay tuned since more exhibits are about to be added for this coming Nov-Dec.
Here's "Les Plaisires" my new photo featuring the actress and model Michelle Soleil. A great pleasure to work with. (click on the pic to enlarge...)
Just a year ago I presented in Los Angeles the photo "Calling Dr Love", one of the most significant photos from my last collection EneME. And as you can see, which keeps a strong connection with this new work.
In fact "Les Plaisires" is "Calling Dr Love" dressed in erotism. This will be the piece that connects EneME with the theme and image of my new collection. Still not spoiling the whole new imagery.
So I though that being now the anniversary of "Calling Dr Love", this would be the best way to put EneME to rest and start with a kick the new series: THE LEFTLOVERS.The plan is to start presenting new works in all upcoming exhibits, and around April 2012 finally release the new book.Next exhibition will be on October 22nd until November 30th. The show's titled "Salon des Refuses", will happen in New Orleans and there i'll present my new work "Les Plaisires".Here some details on the exhibit.Salon des Refuses(Oct 22 - Nov 30)Trouser House - Contemporary Art4105 St Claude Ave.New Orleans.
